C.A.M. Gallery ties up the year 2021 to 2022 with the exhibition “Recto-Verso”. The exhibition offers an anthology from the artworks –as a preview- of the artists that the gallery will hold their solo exhibitions in 2022.

The exhibition brings together diverse mediums as painting, sculpture and photography to the same platform. Tevfik Çelebi’s sculptures manifests his research on form; Arda Diben’s paintings that he focuses on material, flux and rhythm; Bade Erol’s glass sculptures that she deals with perception with forms; which she created using the fluidity and melting surfaces offered to us by glass and various materials; Sayeh Gauvin’s work that she realizes by various paper-cutting techniques to accentuate depth perception and create dramatic contrast in figurative and non-figurative; the sculptures of Serdar Kaynak that he executes as expressions of his questionings relating to existence; Seldem Oskay’s paintings that she creates as momentary expressions of her inner world/ self and Serpil Mavi Üstün’s paintings concerning women’s world that she places her characters in the centre of the scene, putting them in simulated environments with symbolic objects and İsmail Yılmaz’s photography that he depicts his characters integrating to the nature in a serene solitude’s intimacy, takes part at the exhibition.

The exhibition Recto-Verso with the metaphors appending to pneuma offers a prosperous context that pertains to form and theme. The exhibition can be seen between the dates December 18th 2021- January 9th 2022 at C.A.M. Gallery.
