Until It Turns Slightly Pink…
June 21 - July 25, 2018
The problematic of «being a women» continues to keep its place on the public agenda on a global level. The voice of the women, who are oppressed, killed, raped, abused, seen as inferior and who are ghting to survive outside of the roles attributed to them because of the neglect of the social aspect of gender differences and the pressures of patriarcal structure on women’s bodies, is pronounced once again through art in «Until It Turns Slightly Pink» exhibition.
The fact that women are made insigni cant in real life while being a focal point in the visionary world, how they are almost non existent throughout history while being the main subject in poems and novels, how they have become slaves to the men who put rings around their ngers while they rule the lives of the kings in movies and fairytales is questioned once again through this exhibition.
The group exhibition titled «Until It Turns Slightly Pink» brings together a number of artists from different disciplines who place women’s issues at the center of their works.
