Hinterland is Murat Durusoy’s third personal exhibition. The artist aims to paint new geographies, impossible spaces and non-existing planets using multiple photographs and exposures within the confines of the Photographical Language. Beyond the data reflected on the photographs’ surface, the artist creates uncanny stories, places and spaces through displacing, distorting and bending the coded structures of the apparatus which he uses during the image creation process. The exhibition can be visited in C.A.M. Gallery / Çukurcuma from 4th of March to 1st of April.
