Born in Bolzano on 11/30/1967, he lives and works in Selva di Val Gardena. 

After graduating as a master of art he began his professional career on his own.

Demetz sculptures are based on the human figure depicting mostly characters in their way of being, caught in the scenario of everyday life that is dramatic or even comic  . 

In his work he looks for essential and profound content in which he tries try to fully exploit his ideas and his desire for interpretation.

he has participated in several group exhibitions among others in Bolzano, Milan, Venice, Vienna, Prague and others.
